The skills you will walk away with by the end of the workshop
Part one: Learn the truths we have discovered about marketing small to medium businesses in New Zealand.
Find out why we recommend that business owners like you throw out the university marketing text books and take an approach that has proven time and time again that you can turn marketing into an investment. We will show you how simple, cost effective (sometimes free) marketing is far more suited to New Zealand business than the flashy brand advertising pushed by the big ad companies. We’ll teach you the 17 irrefutable laws of scientific marketing and with those laws in mind we will guide you through the development of a marketing plan for your own business.
Part Two: Learn to look critically at where your business is at now and where it has been in the past.
Our workshop will show you the essential clues to look for in your business – these clues will show you why your customers are already buying from you, the things you should be doing again to generate more sales and the marketing messages that are likely to generate response. Part Three: Time to look at where you want your business to be, it is important right from the outset when you embark on improving your marketing that you are doing it for the right reasons. Take time to consider what you want from your business both financially and personally, it may not seem like it, but it will have a major impact on the types of marketing you choose to do.
Part Four: Learn the key elements that make up a good marketing plan.
Including the most common marketing activities that generate sales for small to medium business. Then explore how those ‘marketing plan essentials’ can work for your business too!
Part Three: Here is where we teach you to look at your marketing in terms of the 5 key areas of your business.
These areas are incoming enquiry/leads, conversion, average dollars sale value, frequency of purchase and profit margins. Remember gaining success from marketing is not always about getting more people through the door. In most cases you can have a long term sustainable increase in revenues and profit by selling more to the people who already buy from you.
And Finally: Plan out the campaigns that will boost your profits in the coming 12 months.
Get professional advice on what to consider and how to make life easier when conducting each campaign. This DIY marketing workshop is designed to get you on the fast track to marketing success. My team of consultants and I will guide you through the process of developing your very own strong marketing plan. When you walk away you will have a clear idea of the marketing that is likely to work for your business as well as the steps you need to take to successfully implement your marketing over the next 12 months.
